1. Secure & Insured Shipping
Fully Insured Packages: Every shipment from Italian Diamond House is fully insured in transit against loss, theft, or damage. You can shop with absolute peace of mind knowing your package is protected from our door to yours.
Discreet Packaging: To prevent theft, our shipping labels and outer boxes are completely discreet. We do not use the words "diamonds," "gold," or "jewelry" on the outer shipping box or label.
2. Shipping Carrier & Tracking
Premium Carriers: We partner with trusted premium carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL to handle our high-value logistics.
Tracking Number: As soon as your order is packaged and dispatched, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number and carrier details.
3. Mandatory Adult Signature Required
Security Protocol: To guarantee secure delivery, all shipments from Italian Diamond House require a physical adult signature at the time of delivery.
No Unattended Deliveries: The shipping carrier will not leave packages at your doorstep, in your mailbox, or with neighbors if no one is home. If you are not available to sign, the carrier will leave a door tag and attempt redelivery, or hold the package at a secure local facility for pickup.
ID Verification: You may be required to present a government-issued photo ID to the delivery driver to release the package.
4. Manufacturing & Handling Timelines
We offer both ready-to-ship and made-to-order products:

Ready-to-Ship Items: Non-custom catalog items typically ship within 2 to 3 business days of payment verification.
Made-to-Order & Custom Jewelry: Since many of our gold and diamond rings, necklaces, and earrings are crafted by hand to your specific dimensions, they require a fabrication period of 2 to 4 weeks before shipment. The estimated delivery window will be shown on the product detail page and in your order confirmation.
5. Transit Times
Domestic Shipping: Standard shipping typically takes 3 to 5 business days once dispatched. Express next-day shipping options may be available at checkout.
International Shipping: Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and customs clearance processes, typically ranging from 5 to 10 business days.
6. International Shipping, Duties & Taxes
Customs and Tariffs: For orders shipped outside of our primary shipping hub, the recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
Delays: We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs clearance procedures in the destination country, as these are outside of our control.
7. Damage, Discrepancies, and Tampering
Inspect Before Signing: We advise you to inspect the outer shipping box carefully before signing for it. If the box appears heavily damaged, torn open, or taped over with carrier tape, you may refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
Reporting Period: If you accept the package and find the jewelry is damaged or missing, you must report this to our support team within 24 hours of delivery.
Unboxing Video (Recommended): For insurance claims, we strongly recommend recording a continuous video of you opening the outer shipping box, showing the unopened inner package, and revealing the contents. This video serves as key evidence in the rare event of transit theft or damage.
