1. Overview of Services

Italian Diamond House specializes in high-quality gold and lab-grown diamond jewellery. Our products are offered for sale online, with pricing dynamically adjusted based on global precious metal and diamond markets.

2. Dynamic Pricing & Gold Rate Fluctuations

- Live Gold Price Integration: The pricing of our gold jewellery is dynamic. We utilize a live Gold Price Application Programming Interface (API) to update metal pricing in real-time or at frequent intervals based on prevailing global market rates.

- Price Finalization: The price of an item is only locked once you complete the checkout process, your payment is successfully authorized, and you receive an Order Confirmation email. Prices in your shopping cart or wishlist are subject to change and do not guarantee a lock-in rate.

- Pricing Glitches & API Failures: In the event of a system glitch, database error, feed failure, or latency in the live Gold Price API that results in a product being listed at an inaccurate, anomalous, or below-market price (e.g., pricing that does not cover the raw cost of the precious metals or diamonds), we reserve the absolute right to cancel the order. If this occurs, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

3. Order Placement & Verification

- Right to Refuse Orders: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in description or pricing, or suspected fraud.

- Security & Identity Verification: Due to the high value of gold and lab-grown diamond jewellery, all transactions undergo rigorous fraud detection. We reserve the right to request additional identification verification (such as government-issued ID or proof of address) before processing and shipping your order. If verification is not provided within forty-eight (48) hours of the request, the order will be cancelled.

4. Crafting & Making Fees

Our product prices consist of:

- Metal Value: Calculated dynamically based on the weight of the metal and the live gold rate API.

- Diamond/Gemstone Value: Based on the specifications of the lab-grown diamonds or gemstones.

- Making/Crafting Charges: A fixed labour and design fee.

- Taxes & Duties: Applied at checkout based on your delivery location.

5. Custom and Bespoke Orders

- Production Timeline: Custom or bespoke jewellery orders require a crafting period, typically between two (2) to four (4) weeks, before shipment.

- Non-Cancellation of Custom Work: Custom orders are put into production within twenty-four (24) hours of deposit or payment. After this 24-hour grace period, custom orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded as raw materials are already allocated and crafting has commenced.

6. Payment Terms

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and secure online payment methods (e.g., Stripe, Shopify Payments, PayPal, UPI, and bank transfers). You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method chosen. All payments must be fully cleared before manufacturing or shipment begins.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including designs, text, graphics, logos, images, video clips, and software—is the property of Italian Diamond House and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, publish, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Italian Diamond House shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our Site or products, including but not limited to financial losses due to gold price changes, stock inaccuracies, or delivery delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions, suits, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, India.

10. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date."
